MARJ BACHHUBER EXPLAINED PROCEDURES TO CHAIRMAN SPIERINGS ABOUT PUBLIC HEARING. WENT BACK TO PUBLIC HEARING.
CALL TO ORDER: Came back to town board meeting at 6:50 p.m.

WHITETAIL LANES - 3 new operators. M/S Trebiatowski/Lutz to approve operator license for Sarah Marks. M/S Trzebiatowski/Lutz to approve operator license for Ashley Yenter. M/S Spierings/Trzebiatowski to approve operator license for Mark Cornish. Motions Carried. Aye = 3. M/S Trzebiatowski/Lutz to approve Class B beer and liquor license and additional operators (Shaina Peterson and Tana Schwartz) for Whitetail Lanes. M/C. Ayes = 3.
LIONS OPERATOR LICENSES: M/S Lutz/Trzebiatowski to approve Lions operator licenses (Ed Haebig, Mike Barden and Dale Jastromski). M/C. Aye = 3
PORTAGE COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION: M/S Trzebiatowski/Lutz to approve all 5 activities held at the Portage County Fairgrounds (July 4th picnic, Fair, Little Britches Rodeo, Roberts Rendezvous and Monster truck show/demo) and operator licenses (Karen Stuczynski and Timothy Pederson). M/C. Ayes = 3

LIME LAKE BOAT LANDING: Bob Chojnowski, a concerned citizen was present to speak about the Lime Lake Boat Landing parking issues. Mr. Chojnowski had also sent a letter to town resident and property owner, Linda Dean about some options available on her land that adjoins the boat landing. Linda Dean explained to Mr. Chojnowski why she put up stakes on her property, so people would not park on it. Chairman Spierings explained the contract that the town has with Linda Dean on her property. Chairman Spierings said the town owns an additional 22 feet on west side of boat landing . The town board will need to look into the boat landing parking area to make it bigger to accommodate lake users. M/S Spierings/Trzebiatowski to improve the boat landing and add gravel to make parking area bigger. M/C Aye = 3.
GROUNDWATER REPORT:Tommy Enright was not present to give report.
PLAN COMMISSION REPORT: Report was read at Public Hearing.
PLAN COMMISSION MEMBER TERMS: Peter Blenker and Amy Netzel have been appointed as Plan Commission Members for the next 3 years.
ORDINANCE TO AMEND COMPREHENSIVE PLAN/FUTURE LAND USE REVISION AND REZONING FOR KOLODZIEJ: Plan Commission chose not to recommend the revision and rezoning request of the Comprehensive Plan/Future Land Use for Ryan and Deann Kolodziej. M/S Trzebiatowski/Lutz to go along with Plan Commission recommendation. M/C Aye = 3 (The Plan Commission will look and review the surrounding areas)

LAKE EMILY ROAD CULVERT INSTALLATION: This project is completed. Spierings will breakdown and give Kubisiak the bill for their portion.
LAKEVIEW LANE WATER ISSUE: This issue is in the Town of Buena Vista. The board thinks by digging a ditch between Allen Trzebiatowski and Bob Lea's land will reroute the water. Much discussion took place. Chairman Spierings recommended to the board to not fix cult a sac until Buena Vista takes care of water issue.
7000 LB LIMIT INSTEAD OF CLASS B WEIGHT LIMIT ON TOWN LINE ROAD: Discussion took place and then tabled.
JULY 23, 2018 WTA MEETING:The Town of Amherst will be hosting the Portage County WTA Meeting at the Jensen Center on July 23, 2018. Chairman Spierings got a quote from Ambrosia's and AFF for food. Hot beef, potato salad, beans, brownies, soda, milk, coffee and condiments for 50 people. This will cost approx. $500. Volunteers are needs to help. (Scott Construction offered to pick up the bill after the road bids were awarded.)
CLERK/TREASURER APPOINTED POSITIONS: At the Annual Meeting, residents voted 8-5 to have Clerk and Treasurer position appointed. This subject goes to referendum at the November election. Chairman Spierings says the board has to make the decision that the question of Clerk/Treasurer position should be appointed. Supervisor Trzebiatowski and resident Marj Bachhuber said that the question is bind. Tabled until next month.
ROAD REPORT AND BIDS: Trees were cut on Tofum and Bestul.

SALT SHED SITE: M/S Spierings/Trzebiatowski to award B & B Paving for black top extension at salt shed site for $2,895.00

TOWN HALL REPORT: 1.) None.
FIRE & SAFTEY REPORT: 1.) The Fire Chief is asking for $190,000 for a 39x78 storage building.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Treasurer Bacon read report. Town Balance is $414,625.32. Municipal Road Loan balance is $61,650.87 and Property/Road Loan is $119,195.70.
