CALL TO ORDER: At 6:30p.m. and PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

ROLL CALL:  Chairman Spierings, Supervisor Lutz, Supervisor Trzebiatowski, Treasurer Bacon, Clerk Lea, Tommy Enright and Tom Kranig .

APPROVAL OF APRIL 12,2018 MONTHLY MINUTES:  M/S by Lutz/Trzebiatowski to approve the April 12, 2018 minutes with change in Insurance Bids.  Before second motion, add: First motion was withdrawn. M/C. Ayes = 3

APPROVAL OF THE OPEN BOOK(4/18/18) AND BOARD OF REVIEW MINUTES(4/30/18):M/S Trzebiatowski/Lutz to approve Open Book and Board of Review minutes.  M/C. Ayes=3

PUBLIC INPUT:1.) None

PLAN COMMISSION REPORT: Clerk Lea summarized unapproved minutes for May 3, 2018. 1.) Review site plan for proposed rezoning of property located at 4755 Lime Lake Road.  Many residents came to this meeting.  The Plan Commission will be doing an on- site visit before making a decision for recommendation. Public Hearing will be held on June14, 2018. 2.) Blenker and Netzel terms expire in May 2018 and Chairperson Kadow announced her term ends in May 2019 and will not be seeking another term. 3.) Portage County Zoning Amendments were shared.

GROUNDWATER REPORT:Tommy Enright was present to give report.  At the last Groundwater Committee meeting, there was not a quorum. There is a water ordinance draft that is going to the water committee this month and will be discussed at the next Groundwater Committee meeting.

LAKEVIEW LANE WATER ISSUE:  A meeting needs to be scheduled with Town of Buena Vista, Town of Lanark, Town of Amherst and residents that live on the road.  Evenings work best.  Suggestion was to ask Portage County Highway Commissioner, Nathan Check to attend.

GARBAGE PICKUP DURING WEIGHT LIMITS:Discussion took place.  Ideally, it would benefit our roads if the garbage trucks stayed off the town roads during weight limit time, but not sure if the town can sensibly do this.  Tabled until further notice.

COMPENSATION OF MANDATORY MEETINGS:  Clerk Lea went through all the meeting minutes from May 2013 to December 2016.  Lea could not find any minutes about compensation of mandatory meetings.  M/S Trzebiatowski/Spierings to get paid for mandatory Board of Review training meetings.  M/C  Ayes=3.

LAKE EMILY ROAD REPORT:  Project is done.  Waiting on final expense from B & B Paving.  Invoice will then be divided with Kubisiak's.  Black topping will be done at a later date.

ROAD REPORT - ROAD SURVEY:1.)Tomorrow River Road is breaking off by Cate Park.  A temporary fix would be adding asphalt patch. 2.) Road Survey- roads are in better shape than the board thought.  3.) The town needs a new sander for the Mack.  A new stainless steel  would cost approx. $3,763.00  M/S Trzebiatowski/Spierings to buy a stainless steel sander and install ourselves.  M/C.  Aye=3. 4.) Chip sealing should be done on Alm Road, Fountain Grove Road, Olson Road, River Road, Packer Ave., and Lime Lake Road.  Double chip seal should be done to 2,000 ft of Penny Road, 2,693 ft. of High Corners Road and 1/2 double and 1/2 single chip seal of 3,062 ft. of Pine Hill Road.  A thin overlay of 3,800 ft of Lake Emily Road(Cty B to Fox Rd) should be done in 2019  with wedge only in 2018. This would be approx. $152,000. Crack sealing should be done on Old 18 Rd., Mill St., Chokecherry Lane and Kjer Ward.  With this added, it would cost the town approx. $167,000.  Discussion took place on dead end roads.

FIRE & SAFTEY REPORT:  1.) none

BUILDING INSPECTION,ZONING PERMIT REPORT:  Reviewed - Blenker - 10257 Yellow Brick Road, Brockman - 4716 Turkey Trail and Dowsett - 10612 Isaacson Road.

TOWN HALL REPORT:  1.) Bumpers should be replaced in front. 2.) Need to add cislar gravel on south side of garage.  Discussion on getting an estimate on possible seal coating on south side of garage.

TREASURER’S REPORT:   Treasurer Bacon read report.  Town Balance is $436,903.18  Municipal Road Loan balance is $61,650.87 and Property/Road Loan is $119,195.70.

PAYMENT OF BILLS:  Reviewed

BUDGET REPORT/WINTER MAINTENANCE REPORT:Reviewed
