APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 13,2018 MONTHLY MINUTES: M/S Trzebiatowski/Lutz to approve September 13, 2018 monthly minutes. M/C. Ayes=3
APPROVAL OF THE SEPTEMBER 26, 2018 SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES: M/S Trzebiatowski/Lutz to approve the September 26, 2018 Special Meeting Minutes. M/C. Ayes = 3
PUBLIC INPUT:1.) None
OPERATOR LICENSE FOR TAMMY HANSEN - DOLLAR GENERAL: M/S Lutz/ Trzebiatowski for an approval of an operator license for Tammy Hansen. M/C Aye = 3
GROUNDWATER REPORT:Tommy Enright was not present to give report. Enright emailed some information and resources on testing of drinking wells.
PLAN COMMISSION REPORT: Brenna Olsen represented and gave report for the Plan Commission. 1.) Wayne and Rebecca Lutz lot split. Recommended approval. 2.) Lot split for Dale and Don Lutz. Many citizens attended meeting and had many concerns. 3.) Repurposing of farm buildings (Barns for special occasions) - Tabled.
APPROVAL OF WAYNE LUTZ LOT SPLIT: M/S Trzebiatowski/Spierings to approved lot split for Wayne and Rebecca Lutz. M/C Aye = 2, Abstain = 1
ANIMAL CONTROL FOR PORTAGE COUNTY:Portage County is increasing animal control fees. In order for the town to pay the increase of fees, the town needs to increase dog licenses. The towns current charges are $8 for neutered or spayed, $20 for intact and $50 for multiple. M/S Trzebiatowski/Lutz to increase the Town of Amherst dog licenses to $12 for neutered or spayed, $24 for intact and $80 for multiple. M/C Aye = 3

PREPARATIONS FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF ISAACSON ROAD: The Town of Amherst will yet this year start reconstruction of Isaacson Road. The first stage will be to grind and 2nd stage will be to add cissler gravel. This will start on Hwy T to almost Elkins Road North.
WEIGHT LIMIT SIGNS ON KJER WARD ROAD:M/S Trzebiatowski/Spierings to add weight limit signs of 10,000 lbs on Kjer Ward Road. M/C Ayes = 3
REDITCHING OF LUTZ LANE/OLD 18 - BIDS:The Town of Amherst received 3 bids for re ditching of Lutz Lane. Bid from Glodowski Construction - $3,045.00, B & B Paving - $1,550.00 and DC Trucking - $650 and keep materials. M/S Trzebiatowski/Lutz to award bid to B & B Paving for $1,550. M/C Ayes = 3 **Note: DC Trucking was not awarded bid because bid was not valid due to keeping materials.
ROAD REPORT:1.) Grass is being cut. 2.) Mower needs new blades, windshield wiper and lights. 3.) International is ready to plow snow.
BUILDING INSPECTION,ZONING PERMIT REPORT: Zoning Permit for Dambroski Brothers.
TOWN HALL REPORT: 1.) Election on November 6, 2018
FIRE & SAFTEY REPORT: 1.) The Town of Amherst is getting a $2,000 increase in Fire District Assessment for 2019.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Treasurer Bacon read report. Town Balance is $330,427.87. Municipal Road Loan balance is $41,678.35 and Property/Road Loan is $119,195.70.
PAYMENT OF BILLS: Reviewed
START OF 2019 BUDGET REPORT - SET PUBLIC HEARING/SPECIAL TOWN MEETING DATE AND TIME: Public Hearing and Special Town Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 6:15 p.m.
